Love these. Best value when on sale. Excellent seal, lid doesn’t twist in the dishwasher and heavy, thick glass. Only downside? They don’t nest very well and take a little more room in storage. Would still buy.

Q: Is the lid microwave and oven safe as well?

A: Hi Randy, The container lids are pretty sturdy - tough plastic-like material with a recessed rubber-like seal. I think you would be fine to use the bottom and top within a microwave oven without issue. I would however, not recommend using the lid within an electric or gas oven. The glass seems sturdy enough to withstand the heat from the oven though. I hope that this information is helpful as you make your potential decision to purchase the containers.
