Q: Is there any plastic in the kettle that will be in contact with boiling water?
3 years agoA: The interior of the lid and the spout are plastic. They are a stainless steel colour, but still plastic.

Q: Purchased this last week my question when its set to boil at 100 does it keep it warm at 100 for the 30 minutes ?

Q: Power source isnt mentioned. If its cordless does that mean it has a charge cord?
3 years agoA: The base has a cord, which I thought was very short, but was cleverly wrapped in the base. The kettle is cordless and can be removed from the base to fill/pour.

Q: The description here, and in the current sale ad incorrectly identify it as 1.7 L volume content; not so, it's 1.5. Is there a 1.7 L version? Very inconvenient/disappointing to go out specifically to purchase this advertised product (on a snowy day). ;-(
3 years agoA: I have this kettle and inside it says max volume is 1.5 but I would say that technically it would be 1.7 if filled to the top, however' that would be a hazard for spillover when boiling.

Q: I bought this about a month ago and threw out the instructions. Can anyone tell me how to use the keeop warm function? Should've looked before recycling day 😂
3 years agoA: This product has a “Keep Warm” setting that keeps boiled water at a pre-set temperature for up to 30±3 minutes. • Set the boiling temperature 1000C by pressing the temperature button (H). • Press the Keep Warm button (F). The indicator lights up green. The display (I) shows the pre-set temperature for 6 seconds, then it shows the current water temperature. • Press the On/Off button (G). The indicator changes to red and the boiling cycle starts. • Once the water is boiled, the product beeps 5 times and the indicator turns green again. • The water is kept warm at a pre-set temperature for 30±3 minutes. During the 30 minute period the “ ” icons flash on the display (I). • After 30 minutes the product enters the standby mode. Indicator and display go off.

3 years agoA: No,I am not able.I have not used the kettle at this point. I bought it because my present kettle has a limited live line . I am just be prepared when I need to replace it.
