Good sturdy quality grinder. Easy to clean - can separate cup from the main body. Not too noisy. But the main problem is this: if you have smaller hands or arthritis in your hands, it is very hard to turn the plastic cover cup into lock or unlock position. The size is too big for smaller hands and too tight for hands which do not have enough strength. You have to wear some silicone gloves to do the job, and it is still difficult. However, we tried with force, and after many times it eventually "loosen up" . It seems it is easier now to lock or unlock. I hope the company will be more sensitive to the users and improve on the design.

Paderno Coffee grinder does not live up to its name.

I may have purchased a lemon ..... the motor was very loud and harsh. There is nowhere within the machine to store the excess cord. The lid to the grinder is like a very large jar and difficult for my smaller hands to remove if stuck in the locked position. Too many pieces. Awkward to fumble with it every morning for fresh ground coffee. Canadian Tire was very helpful and made it easy for me to return it and purchase a different quieter smaller grinder at 1/3 the price of the Paderno.
