Great value

I bought this door handle not really expecting much. I was pleasantly surprised. The first thing I noticed is the length of the handle. It's not so long that it will snag clothing or straps, like the longer handles have a tendency to. They install very easily without any difficulty. You will need a proper template for new installation as the plans that come with this handle are not the most practical. This is by no means the quality of a Brinks, Shlage, or Weizer. In some ways I think this handle has an advantage over the bigger, bulkier ones with hollow doors. Sometimes I almost feel as if the heavier handles are too much for hollow panel doors. This one is perfect because it's sturdy but not too heavy. For heavier doors I think the other brand names would be more appropriate and better suited. I have every intention of purchasing more of these handles as I switch over to a new style and color scheme in my home.
