Easy water reduction aerator

I tested this aerator in the main-floor washroom to see if the low 0.5 GPM water flow would be accepted by family members. Water comes out as multiple, soft, needle-spray jets, which I have seen this in some public washrooms to reduce water usage. This was a distinct change for the family, as it is only 30% of the standard 1.5 GPM low-flow aerator. But everyone found it provided more-than-enough water for handwashing and brushing teeth. This is an easy nag-free way to reduce water usage and I plan to install in the other bathroom sinks. I think even the lower-flow 0.35 GPM Mikada model, which has a more-sophisticated needle spray pattern could also work, but I could not find an easy was to source it in Canada. I would not recommend the 0.5 GPM aerator for applications where higher flow-rates are required, i.e. for rapid filling of containers in the kitchen or mudroom.
