Perfect size Dual Bin

Family of 5. The only way I was gonna possibly try sorting garbage from food waste was if I had space for it. This can is perfect. Smooth closing lid, easy one step petal. I still have to find the perfect fitting bags for each side but for now I just using black bags I had already and I purchased the 49L compost bags. I will look for a bit smaller, maybe 30L next time. I do suggest carrying the individual compost bin with filled bag outside to dispose of when ready. I don’t trust the compost bags not to break when filled. I do recommend and great quality so far but I wish it was more affordable because even on sale it is pretty high price for a garbage bin.

Overpriced garbage can

It's probably a very nice garbage can. Got sticker shock at the till and returned it the next day after confirming with my father that he really wasn't interested in spending >$200 (with taxes) for a garbage can - lovely as it was. If you can get it on a 50% off (or better) sale it might be worth it.

Q: When you take the insert out to put a garbage bag in, how do you keep the bag from being pushed up when you put the insert back into the can?

A: Thank you for your question. As long as you are pulling the bag tight around to the back of the liner and using the bag fixer slot to secure the excess bag, then your trash bag should stay in place. Sometimes a little excess air will cause the bag to billow inside the liner, however once trash is added the air is forced out.
