Just okay

We've had this for over a year and it's okay. It's not awful, but not great either. Sometimes the whole top will pop off when you step on the pedal, sometimes it works properly. I also find that when I step on it, it tips ever so slightly and slides against the wall. I have no idea how to explain it. I think it's because of the shape, how it is narrower towards the bottom, so it slides so the whole back is flush against the wall. Idk if that explains it well, but it drives me bonkers.
No, I do not recommend this product.

I bought this trash can about 4 months ago, and I am now on the market for buying a new one. the lid will not stay attached so when you hit the foot pedal it just pops right off. no parts are broken. does not appear that there is any damage to the product, just the pegs that hold the lid in place are too short. it still functions as a trash can, it's just frustrating.
No, I do not recommend this product.

A: The lid itself doesn’t have the locking mechanism, it opens with the foot pedal. The black part of the lid can be lifted (front part) to put the bag in and has clips to snap it into place
