These lights brightened up the kitchen for awhile. Very difficult and expensive to change bulbs.

Flexible & bright, bulbs fiddly to install/change

I replaced my 3 light track with this six light track and it made a huge difference in my kitchen area. The individual lights can be moved (aimed) in different directions, as can the two arms. The only thing that I really don't like about it is that the bulbs are a pretty big hassle to install and change (you need a special tool and have to make sure you don't lose it!) and the bulbs also cost about $7-8 a pop.

Not very bright and yellow-tinged lighting

I bought this fixture for my kitchen and returned it immediately. The lighting wasn't very bright, and has a yellowish hue. This was not adequate enough even for my condo kitchen.
The reason for the poor quality lighting are the glass covers that are mounted over the light bulbs. Another issue with the covers is that they are affixed with metal clips. This makes them very difficult to install and even worst to remove to replace a burnt bulb in the future.
No, I do not recommend this product.

Q: How do I change the light bulbs on the Turin 6 light track fixture? The 'special' tool is missing

A: The special tool, #9 in the instruction sheet is only required to secure the glass. To change the bulb you only have to first remove the bulb cover (#10). This might require moving it from side to side and twisting off and pulling firmly because it does fit snugly over the bulb. Once the bulb cover is removed simply pull the bulb straight out. In the instruction for first assembly it shows inserting the bulb first, before the glass, but this is only for simplicity. It is also possible to remove and insert the bulb with the glass in place. Q: How do I remove the outside glass to clean it?

A: Make sure the light fixture is turned off and cool before touching it. The glass is held in place with clips and you should be able to simply pull it off. It might feel tight, this is normal. Once clean it should easily pop back in around the clips.

Q: Replacement glass covers One if the inner glass covers fell off and broke when we were having new flooring installed in the room above the lights. Do you have replacements or do I need to contact the manufacturer? (Can you post the manufacturer's info?) Thanks!
