Q: The spice jars hav3 a plastic film over the glass lid…..is it supposed to be removed? Not easy to get off!

A: These spice jars are great in concept, yet this design sticks terribly and you literally cannot twist them open to refill or use.

Q: Are they actually stainless steel? Some of the reviewers are saying that their containers are rusting and t they are not constructed of stainless steel. The product description states that they are SS. Could you advise please. Thanks.

A: The item is not stainless steel it is aluminum! The description as per the website says “Magnetic Spice Jar features brushed stainless steel finish magnetic canisters” This means that the brushed effect gives it a stainless steel look – but the item itself is not stainless steel.
