Lasts a long time

I have also had my toaster for at least 30 years. We make toast several times per week. I am just getting tired of looking at the same toaster, but it keeps going on like the ever ready bunny. There are no cleaning issues. Too bad it was discontinued.

35 year Toaster

Had this brand for at least 35 years , just gave up in the toast knob. Loved it , cool to the touch and slopped . Time to get another 🥰 Was a gift from my dear mother so my kids wouldn’t get burned on the outside .

What a joke

Slanted toast slots = wildly uneven toasting. Pop-up throws toast onto counter / floor. How did this get through beta testing? Terrible.

Terrible design

One of the worst toasters I’ve seen. You can’t clean the inside or drop tray when crumbs and other bits fall down unless you take the whole shell off but you’ll need a special screw for that. The cord is not retractable and has no way to be tucked tidily underneath for efficient packing and transporting. Would not recommend this toaster.

Q: how to reset when it pops premature

A: The toaster temperature should be able to reset to a higher temperature and then place the lever down again and finish making your toast. Hope this helps and thank you for your interest.

Q: Why the wrong picture The picture and specs are for the Deluxe model, but the item in store is the normal black one.

A: The newer models have been shipping to Canadian Tire stores for over a year. There is a possibility that an older model is in stock and may have not sold to date or the store has not taken the old model off the display shelf and replaced it with the new model.
