Soft Brown Sugar

I've owned this Starfrit container for about 2 yrs now. I own and love soo many Starfrit gadgets. Oh my gosh. I'm so glad i discovered it. It keeps brown sugar soft much longer than other containers I've used in the past. Because I don't cook or bake as much anymore, the b.suger might sit a couple months or more before i need it, so yes it will get hard again BUT when i put a slice and a haif of bread 【 1¹/² slices covers the sugar ] close the lid and in about 20 mins, ì have enough soft sugar for what i need. Doing the bread thing works much quick in these containers versus other containers..DON'T leave the bread in the container when storing it. Been there, not good peeling dried bread off sugar. I'm now trying the Drylock, which apparently does the same, except the one major difference is that it's MADE IN Canada. I will give an update near the end of 2024. pic is just the Starfrit and my first Starfrit it, jar opener, almost an antique, about 40 yrs, still works.

Just what I needed. This container is perfect for storing coffee after grinding my beans. It even comes with a scoop. I am a bit worried the front closure may eventually break, so I am careful with it - but so far so good :)
