This Stanley Tool set was bought as a gift for my son who is in the Carpentry Trade. So I am really not in a position to comment or complete a in dept review. However the Ordering and Pick up were top notch. The whole Socket Set seems to be very well made and packaged well and hopefully last for a good many years,

The pieces a good, it stands up to its "Stanley quality". Somme sockets are loose in the case, so when you open it the wrong way (say, upside down), which can easily happen, you will have some sockets fall all over the case.
Overall, the quality and quantity of this 229 pc set is a must if you don't have a complete wretched set, (which a lot of people don't have), this kit is a must. It is very versatile.

Extremely useful and good for somebody who’s starting out a tool set or a person with lots of other tools as it messes well due to the fact that you have really good sockets that are grippy they don’t strip bolts easily. You have adaptors and extensions and three different ratchets. I use mine personally for automotive, and I like the fact that it comes with multiple sizes of ratchet as it lets me get into those tighter places.

A: Stanley will NOT replace the case or for that matter they will not sell a replacement case either. The best we can get out of the case is three years, winters in Manitoba are cold and plastic doesn't like the cold.
