If you need a quick result of sharpening a knife, this is the right sharpener for that. 3-4 moves are enough for the result to be visible. V-shaped groove with two carbides that have a fixed angle of attachment to each blade. Ceramic sticks inside the handle enable sharpening of household scissors for both right-handed and left-handed users. The grinder is made of plastic. The carbides can be replaced if necessary.
