A: Most of the Current Singer sewing machine are capable of sewing elastic type fabrics with the appropriate machine settings and needle. However the Heavy Duty series sewing machines have the Presser foot pressure adjustment feature which is a great help when sewing Ultr thin fabrics, stretch type fabrics and heavier fabrics.

Q: What is the difference between this model and SINGER 2277? Online they say the SINGER 2277 is the best one for beginners, but I can't find it anywhere and was hoping this was similar. Thanks

Q: what is the difference between this model and the M2100 model? and can I sew invisible hems with the M3500?

A: In addition to the cosmetic differences between the Singer model M2100 and the M3500, the M2100 sewing machine has 8 Built-in stitch patterns, including the 4 step buttonhole and the Singer model M3500 has 32 Built-in stitch patterns including the 1 step buttonhole. Also the Singer model M3500 sewing machine has the Automatic needle threader feature.
