Fire starter

Bought this about 18 months ago. Today my wife was finished ironing and set it on its heel; however, instead of shutting down and it started overheating and smoke and a burning smell came out of it. She quickly unplugged it then went to put it down on the board, it scorched the pad. Where's the safety in this iron. Very poor product which should be recalled.

Bought this iron to replace a TFal that I just loved. Thought it was an updated version. This iron barely steams. Cannot return because I threw away the box expecting a product as good as or better than my previous one.

The knob design is flawed; they’re placed in a way that your hand easily bumps into them, which frequently changes the settings unintentionally. This cause cloths to get damaged

Q: Re: Singer Steamcraft 1700W. Just wondering how many steam holes it has. And if there has been any issues with it dripping water at low temperatures, etc. Thanks!
