Marginal fit for 5 gallon vacuum

Have a Mastercraft 5 gallon capacity vacuum. The bag fits states 5-10 gallons. Found the plastic retaining ring kept sliding off the inlet spout due to the smaller diameter of the 5 gallon tank.. in short the bag would not work.. ended up snapping the plastic in the middle so that it would grab more of the spout to stay on/in place…. Hopefully that works…. Additional with tax the bags were 34.00 for 2. Totally over priced for what are basically garbage bags. $4.00 each would still be excessive if they were offered for that..
