Shark handheld vacuum

This is our second Shark handheld vacuum. We still have the first one but now we have one upstairs and one downstairs for great convenience.

Great Product But Needs to be Redesigned

Great product, especially for a small environment such as a campervan. But, considering the minimalist nature of the vacuum, you'd think the charger would also be reduced to minimal material like a simple USB-C cable. The charging stand is a major inconvenience, just use a regular small power supply and USB-C cable. I would buy it in a heartbeat if they got rid of the terrible charging stand.

Quality has significantly gone downhill in 6 years

So I bought a Shark WANDVAC 6 years ago and found it a great little handheld vacuum. Good suction, battery life was good, easy to clean, filters readily available and not too expensive. I used it regularly, if not daily. So when the battery declined, I decided straight away to buy another WANDVAC. What a let down. The casing is cheap, brittle plastic. It has absolutely no suction. It smells as though it’s burning. The new stand for it doesn’t hold both of the extra tools because the moulding is incorrect. Just a complete waste of money and a huge disappointment. I wished I had looked around for another handheld vacuum before buying this one.
No, I do not recommend this product.

Unbelievably terrible!

This is the biggest piece of junk ever. I charged it overnight and started to clean my stairs. LESS THAN 10 MINUTES! And...the suction was almost non existant. Save yourself the hassle and eliminate this option. If it was possible I wouldn't even give this 1 star.

10 minutes of battery

While it is convenient for small messes. The 10 minute battery life is not at all convenient.

Q: So all the reviews are from people who have had this product for only one month or so. Has anyone owned this vaccum for a year or more? I have had Shark Vacs before. They are known NOT to have a long lasting battery/ charging system!!

A: Shark WANDVAC™ Cordless Handheld Vacuum Cleaner, 10.8V for optimal performance, it is best to replace the filters every 3-6 months depending on your use. The filters may need to be cleaned if the vacuum is not picking up dirt, airflow is restricted, or you notice lighter or no suction. If continues, then they may need to be replaced.

Q: May I know how to clean the brush that comes with the hand held vacuum? After cleaning the chair a lot of hairy stuff stuck to the brush and not easy to clear that off. Thanks.

A: Just wash it with mild detergent. I use my Dawn dish detergent. Use very little, rinse and let air dry.
