Low Quality

The main hose on the vacuum has ripped, making it totally unusable. It’s only around 2 years old and I live in a small condo, so fairly light-normal use.
No, I do not recommend this product.

Powerful Vacuum but Design Flaws

I purchased the Shark MessMaster back in December. It is great for cleaning small spills. However, I would like to note a couple of possible design flaws:
1. The flexible hose is way too short, which makes it very difficult to maneuver the vacuum without constantly bending over.
2. The attachments tend to work themselves loose during use. There needs to be a better way to connect the hoses and attachments to keep them from coming loose while vacuuming.

All I can say is, this thing is incredible! Does a great job cleaning out our cars and truck and suck's up pet messes like a champ especially the ones made by our "Giant Dogs", the Newfoundland's. Nothing better to get goober off the ceiling. Needed to clean out the garbage disposal and the power of the suction really impressed me, before I new it, it sucked up a bunch of peppercorns, a penny (grandkids) and about 2.5 cups of water in an instant. Use it in the house, shop, yard, vehicles and pretty much everywhere there is a mess. Very happy we purchased this...

Regret Buying

Very poor design. Not much suction, all attachements are designed to slip over the outside of the upstream attachment, causing shelfs in the hose, where debris gets stuck and causes clogs. The 3' hose is way too short, you're always pulling on the vacuum, and it's top-heavy so it falls over, and then the filter clogs so you have to restart it. The hose is very small diameter, and low flow, so it takes forever to clean any large area.
It is easy to empty, light, and it's nice that you can use any bag, but that's all that I like. It's good for cleaning a car, but trying to clean up leaves, pine needles, scraps from a jobsite, forget about it. It's basically a glorified dust-buster

We bought the mess master after buying a Shark upright vacuum a few months prior. Both have been amazing and have held up well in the last year and a half. I love this little guy for the bigger messes. I love that you can do wet or dry... or both at the same time. We've even used it outside for some of our projects!
