Basic install, easy programming

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Bought a house and one of first things I do is change the locks. These are pretty straight forward, like most entry deadbolts. Programming the keypad was extremely simple. I bought 3 sets, to cover all 3 doors and none of them had instructions on how to use the key in the deadbolt. Put that in the instructions and I would have given it 5 stars. Overall, a great product. Looks great and functions as it should. Would certainly recommend.

Not standard

I was replacing an existing schlage lock and got as close as I could to the existing lock in the vain hope that holes and screws and such would be standard. No such luck. We are now searching for drill bits and templates. It's half installed so I can close and lock the door, but I may have to dispense with the deadbolt and the key entry parts.
