lid stolen or gone

Had 3 of these. all 3 lids are gone. either stolen or gone by strong wind. I am willing to buy lid if I can buy separately. Otherwise give up this item.

I've had these cans for years and they do keep the raccoons out. Of course, nothing is going to keep rats from chewing holes. If you have a rat problem (which the folks who complain do...) then you must use metal cans. No plastic will stop a rat.

It’s a very sturdy garbage can and love that the cover won’t fly away with the wind because of the attachments on the sides besides that the cover cannot be removed by any animal.

Q: Is it water/moisture proof? I need to store animal feed without the wrong type of animals getting into it. I'll be kept in a lean-to shack, but the type of feed I need to store absolutely can't get wet or really moist as it will grow mold. How dry do the contents inside stay?

Q: I have disabililties and I would like to know if it will be difficult for me to open. I live with fibromyalgia in a severe form and my hands are often weak and painful. How hard is it to open all the straps on this lids? Have you tested anyone with arthritis? Thanks

A: Thanks for your interest in our products and reaching out! The Rubbermaid Animal Stopper Garbage Can does not have a replaceable lid. Unfortunately the warranty does not cover animal damage.
