Snow Peak Rated

The 3 Peak Mountain Snowflake symbol indicates the tire is rated for Severe Snow Service. This is the acceptable standard for winter driving in Canada and provides improved safety on snow and ice.

Mud And Snow Rated

The M+S symbol differentiates an All-Season tire from a Summer only tire. While rated for light snow, they will not match a winter tire for traction or stopping distance on snow and ice.

Accepts Studs

This tire can have studs installed to provide additional mechanical traction on icy surfaces. Studded tires are prohibited by law in many provinces. Ask at your local Canadian Tire store.

Odd size tire for vehicle

I had brand new 16 in rims that fit this Kia. I went on internet and found 235/70R16 the same circumferance as the 18 inch. I had used this brand with studs on other vehicles. This is my 4th year on this set of tires and still don't really need to change, but with medical milage coming up, I will buy them again if they are still studable. I travel in ice, snow and slush. These tires are the best I have used with studs in the 60 years I have been driving, over 800,000 miles. Even though odd size, the speedometer is right on the money
