Box missing a piece

This christmas gift for my grandson was ordered online and picked up in a locker - great system ... IF the employee picks up a package that wasn't tampered with. The helmet was missing the cage / face protector and it was a very disappointing christmas gift that my grandson opened. I left it with my son-in-law to return to a local Canadian Tire and hopefully they gave him the proper helmet including face cage.

Q: My son's head is a 2 cm too small for this helmet, but it seems to be the only small option, is it possible to add even a bit more foam to the helmet so it fits?

A: From a liability standpoint, no it would not be recommended. However you could try wearing a tour or hat underneath.

Q: How small is the helmet? I am trying to get a helmet for my 17 month old grandson whose parents are a referee and a timekeeper, and very much into the hockey scene.

A: The sizing range for this helmet is 19.1”-21.2” or 48.5cm-54cm. This measurement is the Head circumference measured about a finger width above the eyebrows
