I’ve had it over a year and tried using multiple times in tent. Hard to light and pilot keeps going out if you do get it lit. Be better to burn your money for heat than buy with this thing.

So I have gone through two Little Buddy Heaters that would burn for a short period of time, then they would flame out and quit (not lighting again). So I gave up on them and tried this one. A whole new issue: it won't light when it's cold! We had a second heater (Heat Hog) that lit and ran, so we put this one in front of the other heater, and then this one would light. Kinda defeats the purpose of this heater! Wanna hear a kicker? You cannot return for cash refund if you put propane through it... may I ask how would you know it doesn't work without putting a propane bottle on it??? They would, however, give you a replacement heater (unopened box) or an in store credit. #facepalm

No, I do not recommend this product.

A: yes its for indoor use, in Canada and in California and in the States they are different than the rest of the world and put this in the same category as the propane heaters that go on top of the tank. Those are totally different and are not meant for indoor use. The mr heaters and this companys heaters have a o2 safety built in. They are totally safe to use indoors

Q: Why does it specifically say it is safe for indoor use but is CSA approved for outdoor use? Very confusing and frustrating. Is it or is it not safe for indoor heating?

A: its CARBON MONOXIDE=CO........ Carbon dioxide is CO2, deadly yes, but not what is the result of burning fossile fuel in low oxygen wnvironment, that is call carbon monoxide, it is what you need to worry about. as long as you dont sleep with it on the floor and keep air vents open to let in fresh oxygen you will be ok. but a 10,000 btu needs a couple inces vent on the intake and out. my preferred heating method for long term use in my reflectix lined tent, is a good candle and a big smooth rock that i place above the flame and cover it with aluminum foil to trap the heat under it and circulate around inside tge foi around the rock. this has kept my entire tent a perfect temperature i can lay in my t shirt in -15- -20 below and was perfect. i use my propane or butane mostly to cook, or heat up rocks that i place under my sleeping bag and in it to get a extra nice and relaxing warmth that is my favorite way of quickly getting warm.. i hope this helps,

Q: I just got this home after reading above "CSA certified for indoor and outdoor use" to open the manual and in many places it states it is for outdoor use only and is not safe to operate indoors? So which is it?
