I’ve used the Energizer MAX 9V battery in a smoke alarm and it was quick and easy to install with a secure fit. The battery delivers consistent power and hasn’t shown any drop in performance so far. I chose the Energizer wanting only one and I think a slightly better price. Of note it is about making sure what it is for will last the year. Upon removing the previous same one after a year and testing, it showed was still good.
