This is no lightweight.

The stove appears to be well made with quality fit and finish. The door fits well and closes nicely. The fire seemed to burn evenly and the stove gave off good heat once the fire was burning well and the damper was closed. I am impressed with the first fire attempt.

got an ash pan but no hole for ashes to go its just their for looks very un satisfied called them and said its better without it then why put it their for the extra price when it don't work

Looks amazing and burns every bit of wood I put in it. A bit narrower then my last one so any cutting of future wood will have to be cut shorter.

Great stove but needs improvement.

I really like this burning wood cast iron stove, so much better than my others which have ever only been thin sheet cast iron, so this has been a huge saving grace. But giving only 4stars because the damper control is in such an in convenient place and has been a bit of a challenge to open and close. Needs improvement.

A: The EPA in the States changed the spec on these stoves. So the company removed the discard hole to meet the new spec.

Q: Where is the damper located? Can you run this stove without power?

A: The damper is located inside the bottom. It is controlled by a rod on the right side of the stove near the front. You don't need power to use the stove but a powered fan/blower can be purchased as an accessory. I found it to be not necessary.

Q: how do I get a blower for it? ...and does it handle Exterior Fresh Air pipe?

A: US Stove Company sells an optional CB36 Blower Kit for the stove. You can check out the details at https://www.usstove.com/parts/blowers/circulatory-blower/ Just below where you install the blower unit on the stove is where the connection for the external fresh air pipe. A: If sitting square to walls, rear is 17", side is 21 ". Floor to ceiling must be at least 7 feet. You can reduce clearance with heat shield ie, concrete gyproc spaced from wall and sheet metal spaced from ceiling. Must conform to CAN/CSA-B365. Should be available online

A: Sure. With pine, full power burn (and the baffle slipped slightly forward from the back wall) we get 330 degrees Celsius on the top. 260 if poking along. It’s not always ideal but it works.
