A: It should as the 5049H filter replaces the OEM 492932S filter, which is the equivalent of the John Deere AM125424 filter listed in your manual.

A: The 60-7504 oil filter is the Briggs & Stratton Original Equipment replacement filter and fits all of the current Briggs & Stratton lawn tractor engines. Briggs & Stratton does not list a HP range, the packaging says “Fits most engines.”

Q: I own a 20 year old Generac generator with a Briggs and Stratton 410cc OHVI motor. Would this oil filter fit that motor? It was made in Jefferson, Wisconsin, so I believe its older than overseas production.. It ran 200 hours during the 2025 ice storm.
