Uses same Battery as my Greenworks string trimmer!

Unfortunately, this has been discontinued… Grimsby staff found one and had it shipped from a Toronto location for me. (thanks!) Uses the same battery as my string weed trimmer. Not quite as strong as my wired blower, but does a great job of managing leaf and grass refuse off driveway. The cordless feature is priceless for that quick cleanup.

Light and Powerful

Works great, so powerful, kicks off even some hard packed snow especially on "Turbo" . No gas motor to try and start. No cord to drag around. Battery lasts a long time if you keep the settings around 5. Does chew up the battery on Turbo. Very happy with this machine

On off switch problem

Bought this blower/vac two seasons ago and when using it for fall cleanup recently the on/off switch stopped working so the tool is no longer useable.

Design flaw

Bought one and used it 2 days later. Worked well for about 1 hour then when tried to turn it back on after a break and the on/off switch would no longer work so we had to return it. It is a micro switch button under a cover which seems flimsy, a proper larger switch would be much better like the one on my electric machine. Hope this design flaw is fixed and maybe will try buying one again next year. It could also use a wheel or two on the bottom of the vacuum tube again like the electric one has.
No, I do not recommend this product.

A: Hello there, This unit does come with all of the pieces necessary to use the vacuum function. The box includes the following parts: blower/vac, blower tube and concentrator nozzle, upper and lower mulching tubes, collection bag, 4.0AH battery and 40V charger.

A: No. However, you can always sell your battery and charger to someone else.

Q: Is the impeller metal or plastic? As well, how do you change from blower to vacuum mode (are tools required)?

A: Hello there, This blower has a plastic impeller. To change from blower to vacuum function, you would simply need to remove the blower tube and attach the leaf bag and attach the mulching tube after opening the bottom gate.
