The Bernzomatic® Utility Torch offers an adjustable, high-intensity webbed flame and hassle-free, trigger-start ignition. This torch kit is great for basic DIY repairs, light soldering or lighting grills. The Utility Torch is compatible with Bernzomatic Propane fuel, sold separately.
Features a durable stainless steel burn tube

Defective product

Just be very careful when making the purchase of this tool, if possible, test the flame to ensure there is a full amount of propane before leaving the store. I purchased this item and it would hardly start a flame, not exac convenient in the middle of working on my truck exhaust. If the item is defective or empty, it will NOT be refunded, you can only get an exchange, risking that you take home another defective product. Just be cautious when making the purchase.
No, I do not recommend this product.

Hello, and thank you for reaching out. Your torch is designed to be used in an upright position because it is not pressure regulated. When used at angles greater than 45 degrees, the fuel will flow through the torch and extinguish the flame due to the lack of a pressure regulator. Cheap plastic on-off dial

Worked fine the first time. On the second use, the control knob wouldn’t shut off and I had to remove the nozzle from the tank to stop the gas. Returned with no issues

I bought this propane burner and tank a week ago.
I really didn’t need it because I already had one that came in a nice kit with a lid decades ago. The only problem with my original purchase was that it needed the hand held sparker or flint activated mechanism to light the burner.
Right now I’m in two minds whether I should keep the new one or return it. Fifty bucks is a lot just to obtain a burner with a self-lighting mechanism!

A: Hello, and thank you for your question! Yes, you can use this torch to solder copper pipes. However, it’s not designed to operate effectively at a 45-degree angle. If you need a torch that can handle being tilted more, I recommend checking out one of the TS models.
