      I love the olfa brand blades, and these hook ones are no different. They easily cut carpet, and i think they would work as well on shingles

      Great Hook Blades

      I used these when reshingling my roof. They easily cut through the asphalt shingles and kept their edge for a long time. By snapping off the blunt section was able to get a lot of use out of each blade.
