Won't lie flat.

The plastic cord protectors come coiled up in a box. They won't lie flat no matter what you do. I left mine under heavy tiles for a week and the ends still curled up when I released them. These must lie flat to be useful.

Parts missing in a sealed and closed box

The 2 way tape was missing and unit was to stiff even taped it still curlers up.

The product is tightly coiled up inside the box and won't lay flat. I had to use a heat gun and weights to flatten it out. Aside from that it works perfectly and seems durable.

Q: what are the dimensions of the channel that holds the wires, would it fit 2 standard garden hoses?

A: No. It is meant to keep a low profile on the floor so even one garden hose would not work because of the round shape.
