Q: for interior previously painted surfaces, how will this react in a room with a furnace? how is the smell and do windows need to be opened? For an older (no oil marks) garage floor is the acid wash step needed or just recommended?

A: I did not use primer but double coated the floor with no issues. Make sure to clean the floor well. Sweep and mop so no dust or soil on floor. I used it on basement floor before selling our house. It has high odor/fumes so make sure its well ventilated.

Q: is it ok to use the flakes on top of paint like epoxy flakes?

A: Epoxy Flakes are generally used to enhance aesthetics in resin based floor coatings, our Garage Floor Paint is just that. As well, Epoxy Flakes contain properties that add a measure of slip resistance to the surface which is always a plus in high traffic areas. This being said, we would recommend you try a small area of your garage and if the results are satisfactory then proceed with the rest of your garage floor.

A: A 2 inch or 3 inch angular sash Bristle brush depending on the size of the metal being painted (I recommend 49-1023 Dream Finish 2" Angular Sash Bristle Brush or 49-0448 Dream Finish 2.5" Angular Sash Bristle Brush. A 10 MM pile roller (I recommend 49-0753 Dream Finish Lint Free Roller Refill.)
