We bought this fan/air purifier due to the ongoing forest fires the smoke was so bad. My son has asthma and this thing is amazing would definitely recommend purchasing. It even picks up farts 🤣

So far this fan has been an absolute godsend with the crazy hot temperatures we have been experiencing. It’s quiet, blade-less (so no dust accumulation) and cools our room amazingly. We were having issues with allergies and after using it, it did seem to have lessened them so the air purifier I am assuming works fairly well. We couldn’t be happier with this purchase. It was definitely worth the money. Highly recommend this product.

Poor quality

The fan works fine and acts as a decent air purifier, but th is reason for the poor score is that after 5 months the turbine started making a squealing sound that gets louder as you increase the speed. NOMA customer service was absolutely useless and said they have next to no troubleshooting topics for this unit.
Realistically this is a cheaply made unit and is marked way up by Canadian Tire. NOMA is not the actual manufacturer of these, hence the complete lack of help they offer.

Q: Can the LED display be turned off so that it is not illuminated at night? Does turning the unit on/off or changing settings cause a beeping noise? Looking for dark and silent solution for a baby’s room.

A: Lights can be turned off completely. Changing things make a beeping noise.
