Hoover ONEPWR Streamline Wash and Vacuum Cordless Hard Floor Cleaner

I did my research, chose this because it had vacuum feature along with a mop feature as I want both, at different times but all in one to save space. Unboxed vacuum didn’t work. Good experience with Hover customer service. They sent me a new battery, then a new tray for free (took over a month) but it worked. Major design flaw, the dry vacuum function requires unit to have water in tank to work. Vac starts in mop mode each time (pumping water) before turning to dry mode. Every vac means I have to clean out wet mop goo from roller. Auto clean mode (in the tray) does nothing effective. It’s a mess to clean, have to rinse vac head off in a sink, awkward to handle on counter. Forget it if the kids vac, they hate to clean the roller area and leave it sitting with water in the tank&roller. Then it smells, molds and started fruit fly colonies in the suction hose (twice). I don’t use it anymore since it’s more work to clean the unit than the time it took to clean the floors. If you have long hair or kids, the dirts gonna be waiting for you behind the roller, in the hose and in the tank. Total regret, there’s no refund for this and you can’t exchange since it’s a working vac. Avoid this mop vac all together.

I've had mine for over a year, the first battery went bad had to get another, meanwhile the charging station stopped working because it got wet and messed up. So now I self clean it! Would i recommend.. yes and no!

I purchased this item four months ago, and it worked perfectly until yesterday when it suddenly failed. First, the screen began displaying a damaged battery icon. Then, the roller completely stopped functioning. These issues occurred without warning, forcing me to return the product.

We have 3 dogs, 3 cats, and 2 kids, so the floors around here are consistently filthy, and cleaning them is a 3 step process - sweep, vacuum, mop - involving a couple of hours, a bit of elbow grease, and a workout. So condensing two steps into one was an appealing prospect! And this widget works beautifully, saves so much time and effort. I find I'm tending to default to "boost" mode - "wash" doesn't accomplish a lot beyond dampening the floor - and for actual "stubborn messes" you might have to do some pre scrubbing. Nonetheless, this is turning out to be a great purchase!

This takes some effort to set up and dry the machine, so not recommended to clean up easy spills. But if you want your hard floors deep cleaned, this will do it. We cleaned our hardwood floors with this wet/dry vac the same day after our maid had cleaned them with a mop and I discovered my floors may have looked clean and shiny on the surface, but they were filthy! The tank was filled with brown water! Gross! But, now I know that this vac is needed! Some tips I use: 1. The machine works better when pushing and pulling at a slow pace. 2. I go over each area twice to ensure it's clean. 3. Only the side of the vacuum where the roller meets the edge is the side you want to use against the walls so that it cleans right up to the edge.
