Q: The manual says the fryer has the Start button flashing when it is plugged in. Mine does not, and so I cannot preheat the fryer. Mine simply powers up with the "Reset" button lit. Does this model preheat ? Do other buyers see the Start button flashing ?

A: ours don't flash ,we just hit power button and set the temperature and push the button to start cooking ,pretty simple to used . I don't think it preheat, not to sure

Q: Received as a Xmas gift but nowhere does it tell you how to remove grid for cleaning. Notice further down someone asked about the black tabs for securing grid. Don’t want to break anything and don’t know how to remove those either. Appreciate advise

A: Yup you can just pull it straight out. Be careful not to lose the black rubber tabs though they come off. They are just for grip though.

Q: Do I have to flip the food in the air fryer or does it cook the top and bottom of the food at the same time. If I have to flip the food how am I supposed to flip a pizza or a cake ?

A: Items that are heavily breaded would need to be turned half way through. Pizza would be fine and I’ve never done cake but it would be fine as well. It has holes in the bottom that let the hot air circulate around.
