Goodbye Kuerig

I have now gone through 2 Kuerig machines in the last 5 months the 3rd (from warranty replacement) is now gathering dust as a spare. So far this machine blows Kuerig out of the water. The option to use pods or ground coffee is awesome, once winter is over, I’ll try the over ice option. I hope it continues to operate flawlessly

So far so good. Very well made compared to the other one I had. It stopped working a month after the warranty expired. Only had for a short time so only 4 stars right now. Love the little storage drawer so it keeps everything together rather than throwing in a drawer or somewhere else and forget about it or lose it. Great price point and really happy with my purchase! Shipping was super fast and arrived in perfect condition. Perfect size for us.

I normally love Ninja products. We have several Ninja appliances. This coffee maker was a huge disappointment though. We bought one, it leaked, so we exchanged it and the second one leaked even worse. I would love to stick with the Ninja brand but they are way over priced for the poor quality now.

Q: Does the adjustable base have a heating element to it?

A: No, the adjustable cup tray does not have a heating element. It is designed only to help position cups at the correct height to minimize splashing during brewing.

Q: How big of a coffee can this make at one time? I am looking for more than a standard 12oz cup.

Q: How deep is the water reservoir? I found my Keurig supreme was too deep for a standard bottle brush. It also was too square to easily do the corners.

Q: Can you use this coffee maker for just hot water or do you have to use tea or hot chocolate pods to make hot drinks that are not coffee?

A: I don't see why not, just don't put coffee in the filter. It makes the water nice and hot so it should be great for tea. I would just make sure to run a first cup through it first if you've brewed coffee so you don't get any coffee taste in the hot water / tea.
