Good coffee, bad pods

The machine itself is absolutely fine. Feels sturdy, very easy to use, I did not try to set up any connectivity options. However, I wish I had known how difficult it would be to get pods for this machine. The only manufacturers of Vertuo pods is Nespresso. They are available at: the Nespresso Store, or online. In store, your only option is the Starbucks partnership to get pods. I like that they are recyclable and Nespresso does a recycling program. I like that the machine will accept espresso up to coffee cup sized pods and make a crema on both.

The machine makes a great cup of coffee. My only complaint is that the coffee is not very hot and I don’t believe there is a way to increase the water temperature.

Our Vertuo line brewing systems operate at the correct water temperature, quantity and pressure for each blend design, so they deliver our quality promise in the cup without burning the coffee grounds. Although the temperature of our machines can indeed not be increased manually, here are some tips to get a hotter coffee:
— For Vertuo Next, connect the device to your Wi-Fi to get the latest software update.
— Use a cup of the size of your preparation. Using a larger cup will cool the mixture faster.
— Clean the extraction chamber frequently (once a week). The cleaning will take approximately 5 minutes and you will find the instructions in your user manual. We hope this will help. Cheers! nespresso-canada

Descaling process way too confusing

I like the machine but the instructions given to descale do NOT work! I had to go online to get instructions that actually worked. I wish the descaling process was simpler like Keurig machines. I can’t understand why there’s so many multiple steps that you can never remember. Please make descaling simple or give better instructions!

I absolutely love my Nespresso Vertuo Next coffee machine! It’s easy to use and makes delicious coffee every time. It was a gift from a friend and has quickly become an integral part of my daily routine. I enjoy having coffee with my friend while driving, and I also love making coffee for him. The machine heats up quickly, the pods offer a great variety, and every cup comes out smooth and satisfying.

Q: Why does this say "Breville" when the Nespresso on their website don't say Breville? Is this a replica made by Breville or the original by Nespresso? I'm confused.
