Q: Will this stuff be good for using on air line fittings? As well as plumbing fittings as well?
4 years agoA: Hello Jpops, the Permatex® Form-A-Gasket Aviation Gasket Sealant is a Slow-drying, non-hardening brush-top sealant approved for use in aviation as well as automotive applications which is ideal for close fitting machined surfaces. It is primarily used as a gasket sealant. Some technicians may also use Aviation Gasket Sealant on threaded connections, but it is not known to be used as a plumbing sealant.
