Packaging problem

Looked good BUT after lifting the box lid I couldn’t get the product out of the box. I turned it sideways and pulled on the styrofoam but still wouldn’t come out. Finally, I turned the box upside down and shook it. The whole package came loose, and came out quickly, onto my granite countertop and the CARAFE came out without no support and smashed into a million pieces. I took it back the next day to the same Canadian Tire store and explained what happened and the woman said it was my fault! It was more a packaging problem THAN MY FAULT, and was charged for a new CARAFE!
