Trailer hitch & install price too high

Tester is OK. My complaint is cost & installation on trailer hitch for 2006 Mustang convertible. $200 more than U-Haul !! Like to shop locally, but !!

Q: Will this fit a Champion RC12YC spark plug? This is a common 4 cycle small engine spark plug?

    • A: Thanks for your inquiry, Scalli. This is designed for automotive use . We believe the tester itself will work on a small engine but the boot might be a issue . You will have to see if there is room for the boot in your specific instance.

Q: Is there any kind of spark plug size adapter to fit different size spark plugs? This is only one size right? Car spark plug.

    • A: Spark plugs basically have the same size tips so the rubber boot of the tester should work fine. My problem was the metal probe fit into the machine's spark plug boot. I used a piece of rubber tubing on the metal probe where it joins the plastic body to get a more secure fit.

Q: How does this s.plug tester work? Can you provide a better connection description?

    • A: It is not a spark plug tester. It tells you if the spark plug is receiving power when you crank the engine. To test the plug, remove plug from engine. Reconnect plug and ground base of plug to bare metal of engine away from spark plug hole. Then in dark area, crank engine to see if plug sparks. Check you tube videos.
