ABSOLUTE WASTE OF MONEY

Instructions imprinted on the bowl say to microwave 1/4 cup of kernels for 3 minutes in the bowl. Followed the instructions and used a low-power countertop microwave. The popcorn burnt to a crisp and the bottom of the bowl melted. What an absolute piece of garbage and a waste of money.

It's got issues

I like it but I don't. It doesn't pop nearly as many kernels as a brown paper bag which is very disappointing. You can only put 1/4 cup max in it and the thing gets really hot even though it's popped only a few and you are required to repop over and over again which means it gets hotter and hotter. I like the shape and color and the extra functionality in that you can use the lid as a bowl too but it just doesn't that well - either that or my new bag of kernels is the problem, I don't know. 2 1/2 stars.

A: Hello, when using the Nordicware Quick Pop Single Serve Popcorn Popper, you may add oil after your corn has popped. Cooking with oil or butter during popping phase is not advised, as damage to popper may result. -Kind Regards, Nordic Ware Customer Experience Team
