It is a nice decorative tree, the batteries worked well in the outdoor cold winter weather however, if not on sale, i probally would not have purchased the tree. The cost is the reason for the 4 stars for such a small tree.

I saw it in the flyer. I went to get it from the new Sudbury location and they were out. The lady guided me through to the other location very nicely. The one in the south end had it and put it on hold until I arrived. Putting it together was extremely easy and it looks better in person. I added a few extra decorations and it’s just beautiful. I love it!!

A: There is no on/off switch, unfortunately. Ours is outside plugged into a timer, on at 5:00pm and off at 10:00pm

Q: Can the power supply handle 5V input instead of 4.5 V? 3x1.5V AA in series = 4.5 V Has anyone tried using a 5V DC power supply? Curious if it would fry the LEDs or if the internal PCB would be able to handle ~10% voltage increase

A: I tried x3 1.6v AA rechargeable batteries in mine and it didn’t explode/melt. I have been using regular old AA batteries in the tree for the past 2 years and they last about 2 weeks when I use the timer feature.

A: Take them off and put normal lights on the cold of Canada drains them pretty fast

Q: I bought mine just after Christmas last year and now this year one lights up perfectly and the other one is really dim. What’s the warranty/exchange policy for these?

A: Did you try to change the batteries on the tree where the lights are very dim? Check if there is corrosion inside the battery compartment (especially if you left the batteries inside since last Christmas). If there is, please try to clean the corrosion.
