outright dangerous

I bought this LED light a while ago (probably over 2 years) and installed it as my garage ceiling light. Never move it after installation. This morning I noticed the casing fell apart and the light module was barely hung by a thin wire. It could have fallen onto my car or, even worse, a person. After further checking, the housing is actually fixed by 3 screws and obviously, all 3 failed caused by plastic deterioration and becomes brittle and fails to support the weight. No way I would recommend this to anyone and strongly suggest Canadian Tire take a look at the product as it is still on sale.
No, I do not recommend this product.

Good idea, poor execution.

Sorry Noma, I had to return these. Not nearly sensitive enough, and they rarely actually stayed on for 30 seconds. In my dark garage it ended up being dangerous. Too expensive to work less than perfectly.

That’s completely understandable — a motion‑sensor garage light that doesn’t reliably detect movement or stay on long enough isn’t just inconvenient, it becomes a safety issue. In a dark garage, you need the light to trigger quickly and remain on long enough for you to move around without worrying about it cutting out. When a product can’t meet that basic expectation, especially at a higher price point, returning it is the right call.
