Great machine for small spaces. Cools 700sq fast. A bit on the load side. Only can connect to wifi at 2.4 and only option is to turn on or off. No feature to make sure it’s on cooling or fan speed.

A: App is not mandatory but using it opens a bunch of amazing options for me. I have been using their schedules (experiences), linkage to Alexa for voice control. It sends notifications too when water tank is full. I like how they have added small visual guides as well. Overall helps in monitoring and control of air conditioner.

A: Yes. It does self evaporate. Excellent machine. Recently installed mini splits and moved this unit into my workshop where it is a very welcome addition. Has Wi-Fi capabilities as well. Highly recommend it.
