This is the best humidifier I’ve ever had. It cures dry winter air and doesn’t leave annoying white dust all over your furniture. It is the easiest humidifier I’ve ever cleaned, no annoying small parts and tiny spots to reach with little brushes. Just rinse the bottom water container and you’re good to go, it’s as simple as rinsing a bowl in the sink. I bought the humidifier cleaner liquid bc I can’t stand the smell of vinegar and it works great! I also bought the small humidifier cleaning ball that you leave in the basin and it keeps it very clean with no slimy water buildup. Highly recommend this humidifier, but please know “whisper quiet” it is not. It’s fine on the lowest fan level, but any higher and it would be too loud. Buy it regardless, it’s worth it.

A: There is no visible mist produced……this is an evaporative humidifier, so the water is absorbed by the wick and evaporates into the space being humidified.

Q: Does use of this humidifier leave white dust residue on everything? I have thrown out an ultrasonic humidifier, just a month or two old, because EVERYTHING in my apartment (and I mean everything!) was covered/coated with white dust. I hope this is better

A: Ultrasonic Humidifiers will produce white dust if you are using tap water. Evaporation ones generally do not produce white does as it is a different process to create the mist.
