Questions
Q: Bought this for my RV Batteries which are Vmax XTR6 235AH 6volt deep cycle AGM batteries. VMax website says to only use a charger with a charging current of 15-65A. Is this charger going to damage my batteries or will it just take longer to charge?
5 years agoA: The G4 is not suitable for charging your batteries. It only uses a max of 1.1A per bank, and the batteries themselves (235Ah) are way too large for the G4's 40Ah rating.

Q: for 4 batteries I have 2 bike 1 tractor 1 deap cycle marine batterie will this unit be able to keap them charge and prolong there life span
10 years agoA: ! use 2 chargers for a quad, boat, jet ski, 2 lawn tractors, snowmobile and deer feeders without a problem

Q: Will it charge a 12V deep cycle? I see that you recommend a larger charger, but is it a matter of taking longer or will it not work?

Q: I have two 6v 460 AH batteries is this charger going to work?
6 years agoA: No, the G4 is only rated for charging 6V batteries that are 40Ah in capacity or less. If you wire them in series for 12V, and if 26A is within the acceptable charging amperage range for those batteries, the G26000 would be able to fully charge and maintain a 12V, 460Ah battery bank using the appropriate 12V charging mode.

Q: It will not light up when I plug it into my receptacle and the receptival is live
10 years agoA: You’ll need to connect at least one good battery to check that the unit is functioning. Assuming you’ve tested your AC outlet (by plugging something else into it), if after connecting a good battery you still don’t get any lights, please return the unit for exchange.

Q: Est-ce que ce modèle est doté d’une fonction de survoltage de 16 V, qui permet de dissoudre le sulfate de plomb comme le modèle G7200?

A: Le G4 n'a pas un 16V sur le mode de voltage comme le modèle de G7200. Il a vraiment pourtant un mode de récupération automatique (comme le G7200) comme faisant partie du processus à étape multiple de charge pour aider à inverser la sulphation légère.
