Q: How do you charge/maintain charge of this unit?
a year agoA: The GB70 can be charged by two different methods. The first method is to charge it via any USB source like your computer/laptop, a USB AC adapter, a 12v USB adapter, etc. To charge the unit this way, you would connect the small end of the USB cable to the USB IN port on the GB70 and the large end of the USB cable to whatever charging source you'd like to use. The second method is through the 12V Auxiliary port (cigarette lighter) in your vehicle. The GB70 comes with a 12V XGC Charge cable and a 12V Male Adapter. You would plug one end of the 12V Charge cable into the 12V IN port on the GB70 and the other end into the 12V Male Adapter. The Male Adapter is then inserted into the 12V auxiliary port in the vehicle.

Q: I bought noco boost HD GB70 in canadian tire the guy who assisted me told me to charge the booster for 2 days straight. I'm wondering if i gonna follow to his adviced. My question is, is it right to charge the booster for 2 days?
3 years agoA: Just charge it until when only the solid green led is on, which means it's fully charged as indicated in the manual.

Q: I have never been able to use this thing. It's dead every time I have needed it. Doesn't seem to store a charge for long at all. Does anyone else have this problem?
3 years agoA: Mine is dead after 2 years even though I never had to use it. Even if I charge it for 10 hours it no longer holds any charge.

4 years agoA: Yes, even if the 7.3 diesel. Might struggle in extreme cold temps with a stone cold engine after cycling the glow plugs before starting the engine though.

Q: What is the difference between this booster and the 1000 amp booster? Will both start a car engine?
2 years agoA: Price Nd the GB 70 ( 2000 amp ) can power some small items like an air pump while the GB 40 ( 1000 amp _ can't. They have different limits for engine sizes that thy can charge.

4 years agoA: I have a 4.2 l diesel and had no problem. Have used it on several vehicles , but none as large. I believe that the specs show it can.

a year agoA: This product is compatible with your Ford Transit 150 battery. Please note that the battery on the Transit is not under the hood. There are terminals under the hood to connect the booster. You should familiarize yourself with the boosting procedure before attempting. I have used this booster on everything from cars to one ton trucks and farm tractors. Works well and easy to use.
