I use these on my trailer so that I don’t have all the electrical problems. Every time I hook up my trailer they work OK they’re not perfect. However, I have the ability to do basic repair on these like replace the batteries because the batteries are the worst part. The circuitry, of course is encapsulated in goo, so can’t really fix that part which is too bad because these are really good product if they made them serviceable. In my opinion, all trailer lights should be wireless. It’s really too bad they don’t sell these or for that matter and prove them and sell they would be great. I recommend them if you are willing and able to repair them and anytime you use them you should attach them to your vehicle using at least a bungee cord and good attachment points don’t rely on just the magnets.

They are OK a bit of a pain in the butt. You have to bungee cord them on. If you’re going to use them the magnets are not that strong and they really should have a double charger to charge both lights at the same time you can only charge one at a time. On the bright side, they’re less of a pain in the butt, then having your trailer wires or connections, screwing up all the time and having to fix it in bad weather or rain because that seems to be the only time when your trailer wires screw up.

A: You’ll never know when it’s fully charged, and they charge very slowly so don’t leave it to the day before. It’s dead when it’s dead.

Q: Are they supposed to stay on ? They work fine, brake lights up, blinkers etc however they always stay like having parking lights on is that normal?

A: As long as the switch is on they act like running lights. But I do want to add that the magnets aren’t very strong, we used them once and they fell off and we lost one.

Q: The information says transmitter distance is 65”. That’s only 5.4 ft. The vehicle I’m towing is 24 ft. Is that a misprint and should say 65 ft?

Q: How can you tell when lights are charging? Red light on charging cable goes on as soon as its plugged into lights, does not change when plugged into 12v socket.

A: The battery is 12volt, 1.3Ah, so it should work. However, we do recommend using the charger provided, as other uses may void the warranty.

Q: How wide is each light? Says package width but not product width. My boat trailer tube is 3inches wide. Will each light fit within that or too wide?

A: The length of each light bottom of 020-3827 is 8-1/2”, and the width is 3-1/2”. The light is applied to the vehicle via the 2 black round magnet pads, of which the diameter is 2-3/4’’. The customer’s boat trailer tube is 3’’ wide, normally it should work. But as the width of the whole is 3-1/2’’, so if the installation location has other interference, it might not fit

Q: i just got this product. i do know they require charging but no instructions to say how you know they are fully charged. my question is does the red light on the charger change colour does it shut off so that i know they are charged i dont know
