Battery Life

I purchased this battery pack to have in the car for long trips. I’e used it several times to help stranded motorists needing a boost. I have always maintained full charge by keeping it in the car, plugged into 12v supply. After only a few years, the battery will no longer take a charge. Yes, it has been a great product, it’s disappointing to spend $200+ dollars that only lasted a few years.

No, I do not recommend this product.

Portable Power, Yes! Battery Booster, No

This unit is hit or miss when it comes to cycling a dead battery. Def not worth writing home about. However, when it comes to needing power for camping or hunting season, its a 5/5. It'll last 3 days with moderate use in the cabin. Phone & device charging, blowing up mattresses, etc

Yes, I recommend this product.

Worthless piece of garbage!

Waste of money. Purchased this a couple of years ago, only used it a few times, always "topped it up" every couple of months. Went to use it when power went out today and it was stone dead. When the power did come back on tried to charge it with the supplied AC adapter and it will not take a charge. Garbage!

No, I do not recommend this product.

Charge does not last!

Had for a year as of January and on a full charge will run a light with a 7watt bulb for 20 minutes. Can charge back to full and check a week later and it's down to 80 percent.

No, I do not recommend this product.

Not worth it

Well I waited 1 year to see how this would hold up (just past the warranty). Kept charged and topped up at all times and used it 4 days ago with the -44 temp. Well… had to get a boost. This Booster did not last and has been charging for 4 days and still not keeping a charge. Not what you’d expect from CT. Pretty disappointed overall.

No, I do not recommend this product.

Q: does this unit have a compressor to blow up your tire?

3 Answers
  • A: No, this unit is not equipped with a built-in compressor. However, you can operate a separate compressor from it. If you're looking for a model with a built-in compressor, perhaps consider MotoMaster Nautilus 011-1592 or DEWALT 011-2070. You can also consider MotoMaster Eliminator 011-1912, 011-1913 or DEWALT 011-1916 however these models do not come equipped with a built-in inverter (for portable AC power).

Q: CTC has 36 complaint about your motomaster eliminator powerboat 1200 ,so why continue to carry this thing, ?Look how much time lost withvrefunds etc.

2 Answers
  • A: The life expectancy of the Eliminator 1200 should be between 4-6 years Most customers don’t know how to maintain the power pack.  It should be charged and discharged on a regular basis to keep the plates from collapsing. Therefore, it remains functional.  The rules of thumb is, discharge and then keep fully charged at least twice a year.  Good luck
