Faulty Derailer!

Son used this for about 5 months, seems to be the same issue as some others have commented. This bike should be recalled, very dangerous to have the Derailer break/fall off as you're riding

No, I do not recommend this product.

Made it 75 meters and the derailleur broke

We bought this online last Sunday and it came today, my daughter was so excited that we put it together, which was easy I was able to do it, basically I had to put the handle bars, front tire, pedals and seat. I didnt have to do anything to the back as that came assembled. She was excited to go show her grandparents, she didnt even make it a block and the derailleur bent into the spoke and stopped her in her tracks! Good thing she wasnt going fast, as she could of got seriously hurt. We will be driving into the city to stop at SportChek to get this sorted out.

No, I do not recommend this product.

Broken Derailleur

My son only got to ride it for two weeks before the rear derailleur jammed and broke.

In limbo

Hard to rate. I believe the bikes will be good, but putting them together myself is a challenge. I am not a bike pro, nor do I have the time. I put time in to put both bikes together, but i had trouble with the gearing of the bike. So we are using the bikes, but not at full capacity. I really hope Sportchek will take my bikes in at no charge to properly assemble them when the store in Sault Ste. Marie opens up. Please pass along to the store

Yes, I recommend this product.

You get what you paid for

Bought this bike 2 month ago, but took over 3 weeks to process and deliver it (at the time no curbside pickup). Assembly was easy, but the fine tuning took even longer (if you know anyone with a bike stand or figure out a makeshift one this will make the tuning allot easier). The front forks ends are extremely sharp and I had to file the edge down so my kid won't get cut. The "Shimano" rear derailleur is noisy and clunky in its operations and the pedals are made of nylon/plastic. Seeing the 1 star reviews about broken rear derailleur. I now remind my kid not dropping this bike on the garage floor.

No, I do not recommend this product.
