It lifts the salt from leather, but may take two applications. Wipe clean, let dry, and apply Dubbin or similar. Keeps winter leather supple. Recommended

Tried this and it only removed a minimal amount of the salt stain.

Sorry to hear this. Depending on the depth of the stain and the material of the shoes, you may need to treat the article a couple of times especially if the salt stains are from last season. When applied correctly and thoroughly, the Salt Stain remover is very effective and can combat all of your salt stains from the winter!

Waste of Money

I gave this product a fair trial I tried several applications after the first try didn't work and had no success. Canadian Tire did refund my money and I went to a shoe store and bought Kiwi salt remover which did work after 2 applicationa.
No, I do not recommend this product.
